U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Simeus Rikelson, a food service specialist with Combat Logistics Battalion 1, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 25.3, sustains the force by delivering critical meals to troops during Talisman Sabre 25 in the Northern Territory, Australia. “ I joined the Marine Corps to support my family and explore the world," said Rikelson. His favorite part of his job is working with other Marines and building a strong sense of comradery in the service of others. Food service specialists play a vital role in maintaining troop readiness and morale by ensuring consistent and nutritious meals. Talisman Sabre is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening relationships and interoperability among key allies and partners, while enhancing our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns. Rikelson is a native of Florida. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Brian A. Stippey)
