Rev. Msgr. Salvatore A. Criscuolo, Chief of Chaplains for the Metropolitan Police Department, stands with Maj. Gen. John C. Andonie, Commanding General (Interim) for the District of Columbia National Guard, and CH (COL) Vincent A. Cummings, senior Army and Command Chaplain for the D.C. The engagement focused upon strategic interoperability between DCNG Chaplain Section and MPD Chaplain Corps. Areas discussed included Catholic religious support at the D.C. Armory, joint interagency religious support as needed, and synchronization with local clergy. Monsignor Criscuolo also had office calls with Mr. Marcus L. Hunt, Director of D.C. Government Operations- DCNG and received a tour of the D.C. Armory and our historic chapel. A direct outcome from the agreement was the re-establishment of weekly Catholic Mass. Rev. Msgr. Salvatore A. Criscuolo is also the Priest in Residence for St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington, D.C. (U.S. Army photo by Ayan Sheikh)
