Gary Sinise is welcomed to Fort McCoy, Wis. on July 13, 2025 by Maj. Gen. Joseph Ricciardi, Senior Commander of Fort McCoy, and Garrison Command Sgt. Maj. James Riddle.
Sinise led his Lt. Dan Band to highlight a concert at Fort McCoy courtesy of the Gary Sinise Foundation and Fort McCoy’s Directorate of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation at the McCoy’s Community Center field.
Famous for his portrayal of Lt. Dan Taylor in the blockbuster film, Forrest Gump, Sinise formed the Lt. Dan Band in 2003. Since then, the band has played nearly 600 concerts for military, Veterans, Gold Star Families, and First Responders.
