More than 100 Soldiers from across the United States compete at the 2025 U.S. Army Reserves Small Arms Championship at Camp Atterbury, Ind., on March 30, 2025. The annual event, held in April 2025, promotes accuracy, discipline, and expert marksmanship across the force.
The U.S. Army Reserve Marksmanship Unit is the leading authority on small arms training and expertise. Its elite shooter-instructors enhance readiness by conducting advanced training, hosting competitions, and representing the Army Reserve nationwide and abroad. All Army Reserve Soldiers can compete for a spot in the program, with selection reserved for the top marksmen in the force.
