More than 100 Soldiers from across the United States compete at the 2025 U.S. Army Reserves Small Arms Championship at Camp Atterbury, Ind., on March 31, 2025. Sponsored by the U.S. Army Reserve Marksmanship Unit, the event draws some of the Army Reserve’s most skilled shooters.
The U.S. Army Reserve Marksmanship Unit is the leading authority on small arms training and expertise. Its elite shooter-instructors enhance readiness by conducting advanced training, hosting competitions, and representing the Army Reserve nationwide and abroad. All Army Reserve Soldiers can compete for a spot in the program, with selection reserved for the top marksmen in the force.
