NSA Mechanicsburg hosted its first Red Cross Blood Drive in over five years on July 1, thanks to a suggestion submitted to the Commanding Officer’s Suggestion Box. Led by Logistics Specialist Chief Jane Santos and PS1 Gregory Zimmerman - with support from NAVSUP Chief’s Mess volunteers - the event exceeded expectations, collecting 51 pints from 54 participants, including 39 first-time donors. With 93% of donors coming from the civilian workforce, the drive highlighted the installation’s strong community spirit and commitment to service. Organizers hope to bring the Red Cross back for another drive soon
