U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Anthony Easton, the outgoing Sergeant Major for Marine Corps Installations Pacific, is awarded the Legion of Merit by Maj. Gen. Brian Wolford, commanding general of MCIPAC, during a relief and appointment ceremony on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan July 8, 2025. Easton a native of Minnesota, was relieved by Sgt. Maj. Jorge Ortiz, who previously served as the sergeant major of Headquarters and Service Battalion, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific.
