Alex Romero, a cavalry scout assigned to Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, under Joint Task Force-Southern Border, monitors the southern border using a long range advanced scout surveillance system (LRAS3) near Santa Teresa, N.M., July 3, 2025. The LRAS3 is a multi-sensor system capable of long-range detections in day and night operations.
