    The Al Basrah Oil Terminal stretches over half a mile from the south platform to the north platform. The terminal, 30 miles off the Iraqi coast in the Persian Gulf, can host four tankers at a time and pumps more than 1.5 million barrels a day. U.S. Army photo by Spc. Darryl L. Montgomery
