HAYAMA, Japan (June 27, 2025) – A komainu, or a lion-like statue, guards the entrance to the Morito-Damyojin Shrine in Hayama, Japan Friday, Juen 27, 2025. Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka’s (CFAY) Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) provides a free monthly tour of Zushi-Hayama for community members. Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka Fleet and Family Support Center (CFAY FFSC) holds a monthly Zushi-Hayama Tour for base community members. The free, family-friendly tour includes information on how to use Japan's public transportation system, visits to Morito-Damyojin Shrine and the Yujiro Ishihara Memorial Monument -- both in the Town of Hayama -- and closes out with a trip to Kamegaoka Shrine in the City of Zushi. CFAY FFSC’s mission is to enhance operational readiness, strengthen resiliency and quality-of-life in the Forward Deployed Naval Forces by providing customer focused, consistent, and efficient programs and services.
