U.S. Marines execute buddy carry drills in a Combat Lifesavers Course at Combined Arms Training Center Camp Fuji; June 4; 2025. The CLS course educates and trains Marines in basic casualty and combat care; preparing them to provide aide to injured service members in combat situations. Marines learn to provide similar life-sustainment care that a corpsman would administer until the causality can be treated by a medical professional. The Marines are with 3d Battalion; 12th Marine Regiment; 3d Marine Division. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Rodney Frye)
