SAN DIEGO — The Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) held a change of command ceremony aboard the ship’s flight deck at Naval Base San Diego, Jun. 12. Cmdr. Raymond T. Ball Jr., a native of Rockledge, Florida, relieved Cmdr. Byron Stocks, from Anchorage, Alaska, as commanding officer.
