Rebecca Rieger, a medical provider with Expeditionary Medical Facility 150 Alpha, and a Honduran surgical team conduct abdominal surgery on a Honduran patient on April 23, 2025, during the EMF's global health engagement to the Central American nation. The deployment of EMF Alpha allows for significant bilateral medical engagements between U.S. Navy expeditionary medicine teams and their Honduran counterparts, which strengthens our collective ability to face common challenges and improve medical readiness.
