GULFPORT, Miss. (June 14, 2025)- Engineering Aide 2nd Class Ian Kisakye assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 11, levels a concrete form at a pour on the waterfront during “Operation Turning Point”, a field training exercise (FTX) at the Port of Gulfport, Miss. June 14, 2025. Operation Turning Point is a FTX conducted by Naval Construction Group (NCG) TWO that places a battalion in a simulated hostile environment to test the full range of their expeditionary construction skills.
