SAN DIEGO (June 17, 2025) Participants of Naval Health Research Center’s (NHRC) change of command salute as the Naval Base Point Loma Color Guard parade the colors during the opening of the ceremony. The change of command ceremony, presided over by Capt. Franca Jones, saw Capt. Eric Welsh relieved as commanding officer, NHRC by Capt. Kellie McMullen. NHRC, part of Navy Medicine Research & Development, supports Navy, Marine Corps, and joint U.S. warfighter health readiness and lethality with research and development that delivers high-value, high-impact solutions to the health and readiness challenges U.S. military population faces on the battlefield, at-sea, home and abroad.
