Rene Hernandez, Marine Wing Support Squadron 371 environmental compliance officer and native of Lockhart, Texas, is presented with an award and challenge coin aboard Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., April 22. The award was presented to him for his eco-conscious recycling efforts in his squadron, where he categorized and sorted over 3,000 hazardous materials as a part of the station-wide recycling program.
