Norfolk Naval Shipyard Insulation Shop (Shop 57) Insulator Nathan Pope has been working at the shipyard for over eight years. He enjoys facing challenges that the job brings each day. “What I learned a long time ago is that when you face a challenge, regardless of what it is, you need to pace yourself and don't rush because you're going to mess up more and you have to start all over. So I take my time, stay alert, and depend on my teammates,” said Pope.
