    Joint Region Marianas Command Master Chief William Webster retires from the Navy after 33 years of service

    250618-N-ML137-1104 ASAN, Guam (June 18, 2025) U.S. Marine Corps Master Sergeant James McGilton, operations planner for Joint Region Marianas, passes a folded ensign to Command Master Chief William Webster, outgoing senior enlisted leader of JRM, as part of a flag passing ceremony during a retirement ceremony at Top o’ the Mar, June 18. Webster joined the Navy in 1992 as an aviation apprentice. Over his 33-year career, he served aboard eight ships and four aviation squadrons as an Aviation Maintenance Administrationman, supporting major operations including Desert Shield, Southern Watch, Restore Hope, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom. He also held key leadership roles at sea and ashore, including five Command Master Chief tours and multiple staff assignments across the aviation and joint operations communities.
