The Hospital Corps is the most decorated corps in the United States Navy. The Hospital Corps is the most decorated corps in the United States Navy comprised of more than 26,000 active duty and reserve Hospital Corpsmen practicing or training in 40 technical specialties. Their accolades include: 23 Medal of Honor recipients, 946 Silver Stars and 1,582 Bronze Stars with the combat “V” for valor and 22 Naval ships are named after Hospital Corpsman.
