Sgt. 1st Class Robert Zalabak's photo appears on the Wrigley Field jumbotron during a Chicago Cubs Military Salute recognition, June 12, 2025. He served on a combat deployment with the U.S. Marine Corps from 2004 to 2005 where he earned the Marine Corps Combat Action Ribbon. Zalabak later joined the U.S. Army Reserve and was recently accepted to Warrant Officer Candidate School to meet his dream of becoming an officer.
