In solemn tribute to those who gave their lives in service, a Marshall Center delegation marked Memorial Day with a ceremony led by U.S. Army Lt. Col. Schnarr, chaplain for U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria – Garmisch at the Durnbach War Cemetery on May 26, 2025. The Durnbach War Cemetery is the resting place of 2,934 allied servicemen killed during WWII, including 11 U.S. Army Air Forces personnel.
