Midshipmen observe surface contacts from the flight deck of amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) during a Tiger Cruise while underway in the Pacific Ocean, June 5. A Tiger Cruise allows service members to acquaint their family members with their ship and shipboard duties, and is intended to promote morale and a sense of pride in the Navy.
