Midshipmen and friends and family of Sailors aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) watch as Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) returns to Naval Base San Diego, June 5. A Tiger Cruise allows service members to acquaint their family members with their ship and shipboard duties, and is intended to promote morale and a sense of pride in the Navy.
