U.S. Army leaflets land on the ground from an unmanned aircraft system as a training exercise that occurred on the Lark Field at Fort Hunter Liggett, California, June 2, 2025.
The leaflet drops contained a quick response code to simulate a cyber attack; any individual who scanned the quick response code would be marked in the U.S. Army system as a phishing incident in the Mojave Falcon exercise. Mojave Falcon is an Army Reserve exercise that tests the unit’s readiness and support capabilities across a coast-to-coast battlefield in a Large Scale Combat Operations environment. This is a multi-faceted first-of-its-kind training exercise that integrates Combat Support Training Exercise, Global Medic, Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise, National Training Center, Port Operations and Nationwide Move.
