On June 7 at Fort Harrison, MT, the 1-163rd Combined Arms Battalion honored the newest members of the Corps of Noncommissioned Officers (NCOs)!
By earning the title of NCO, these Soldiers have affirmed their commitment to leading from the front, upholding standards, and supporting the welfare of those they lead. As the "backbone of the Army," NCOs have played a vital role since 1775: training Soldiers, enforcing standards, and mastering their craft.
