Lt. Col. Allison Jacobs, commander of the 634th Brigade Support Battalion, presents Master Sgt. Francis Sarnecki with a certificate of retirement during a ceremony held June 6 at the Illinois State Military Museum in Springfield. Sarnecki retired after 31 years of dedicated service in the Illinois Army National Guard, including two deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and 22 years with the Illinois Counterdrug Task Force.
