Sgt. 1st Class Carlos Parrilla, a logistics noncommissioned officer assigned to Special Operations Command South, jumps from an MH-60 helicopter during a rotary-wing airborne operation April 16 at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla. Parrilla, along with more than 30 paratroopers assigned to SOCSOUTH, took part in the airborne operation. This operation allows airborne-qualified personnel assigned to SOCSOUTH to maintain current airborne proficiency and mission readiness.
