Fort Cavazos Media Day: 1-9CAV Live-Fire Exercise M1A2 Abrams & M2A3 Bradley
During the week of June 1st, 2025, Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 9th U.S. Cavalry Regiment are conducted live-fire training at Fort Cavazos to prepare for their upcoming rotation to the National Training Center.
National media were invited to observe M2A3 Bradley live-fire exercises. Soldiers engaged targets from their vehicles, then dismounted, advanced toward enemy positions, and cleared the area to reach and secure the trench line. Media were also present to observe M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams gain validation on the range.
