A senior officer panel of US Navy commanding officers from across southern California participated in a moderator-led question and answer session on the challenges of command during the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Camp Pendleton-hosted Get Real, Get Better Symposium held June 4, 2025, at the Pacific Views Event Center aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Panel participants were Capt. James Nogle, 1st Medical Battalion, Capt. Elizabeth Adriano, NMRTC San Diego, Capt. Charles Dickerson Jr., USNS Mercy, Capt. Jenny Burkett, NMRTC Camp Pendleton, and Capt. Kevin Bailey, Naval Expeditionary Medicine Warfighter Development Center. According to the Navy’s official website, GRGB is an “ongoing effort to strengthen warfighters, improve warfighting, and ready the platforms that support them.”
