U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Giovany Aguirre, a fires advisor with Force Package 25-1, 54th Security Force Assistance Brigade, conducts a fires integration class with Albanian Armed Forces soldiers during Exercise Immediate Response 25 in Albania, May through June 2025. Aguirre’s instruction enhanced partner force combat readiness by improving joint targeting and indirect fire coordination. U.S. Army Advisors with FP 25-1 trained alongside the Albanian Armed Forces, Kosovo Security Force, and New Jersey National Guard, who maintain a long-standing State Partnership Program relationship with Albania. Immediate Response is a subcomponent of DEFENDER 25, U.S. Army Europe and Africa’s premier annual exercise focused on strategic deployment, Army Prepositioned Stocks employment, and NATO interoperability.
