Brig. Gen. Nick Brown, commanding general of Marine Corps Installations West and Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, meets with Capt. Jenny Burkett, Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton director, Chief Petty Officer Maya Francis, NHCP acting command master chief, Capt. Kenneth Basford, Expeditionary Medical Facility 150 Alpha commanding officer, and Master Chief Petty Officer Robert Flowers, EMF 150 Alpha command master chief, at the conclusion of Brown’s visit and tour of the facility. Brown met with leaders and staff of the hospital and toured the optometry, physical and occupational therapy, radiology, and emergency departments during the visit. For 250 years, Navy Medicine – represented by more than 44,000 highly-trained military and civilian healthcare professionals – has delivered quality healthcare and enduring expeditionary medical support to the warfighter on, below, and above the sea, and ashore.
