Lance Cpl. Kaleb Littlejohngardner, from Coquille, Ore., assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), fills a portable water container with purified water from a tactical water purification system aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49). Harpers Ferry is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, which is standing by in international waters off the coast of Burma supporting Joint Task Force Caring Response, a humanitarian assistance operation developed in the wake of Cyclone Nargis.
