Charles Wilhite, deputy commander, Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command (NMCFHPC), and director, Defense Center for Public Health Portsmouth (DCPH-P) speaks to staff members during a townhall meeting hosted by NMCFHPC on May 20, 2025, onboard Naval Support Activity (NSA) Hampton Roads - Portsmouth Annex. The townhall was held to commemorate Capt. Marion Gregg, commander, NMCFHPC, and director, Defense Center for Public Health Portsmouth (DCPH-P) and Wilhite for their time and dedication to the command. During the townhall Wilhite spoke about the “Get Real, Get Better” program and how it is beneficial for mission accomplishment. Gregg will be transferring to U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (COMUSNAVCENT) to be the Fifth Fleet Force Surgeon and Wilhite will be transferring to Commander, Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMSUBPAC) to be a safety officer.
