Jake Myers (center), a mobile team trainer with the Global Operational Support & Threat Branch, conducts an initial brief to U.S. Soldiers assigned to 720th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, on effective Counter-Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) techniques to detect, track and disable UAS with a C-sUAS Dronebuster in El Centro, Calif., May 18, 2025. This C-sUAS training was conducted to prepare Soldiers to effectively engage and neutralize drone threats. Under the direction of the U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force–Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations.
