U.S. Soldiers assigned to 720th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, ensure their Counter-Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) Dronebuster is calibrated prior to training on techniques to detect, track and disable in El Centro, Calif., May 18, 2025. This C-sUAS training was conducted to prepare Soldiers to effectively engage and neutralize drone threats all along the southern border. Under the direction of the U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force–Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations.
