Brig. Gen. Alan R. Gronewold, Adjutant General, Oregon, takes part in the three-gun team segment of the Adjutant General’s Combat Marksmanship Competition, or “TAG Match,” at the Rees Training Center, near Hermiston, Oregon, on May 16, 2025. As the Commander of the Oregon National Guard, Gronewold was one of nearly 100 service members competing to be Oregon's top shooter and to earn a spot on the ‘Governor's Twenty’ during the three-day event.
