PORT HUENEME, Calif. (May 15, 2025) Capt. Angel Santiago, Commodore, Naval Construction Group ONE, presents Cmdr. Matthew Evans, commanding officer, Underwater Construction Team (UCT) TWO, with an end of tour award during a time honored Change of Command ceremony onboard Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) Port Hueneme, May 15, 2025. Known as 'Seabee Divers,' UCT-2 provides waterfront and underwater facility construction, engineering, inspection, maintenance, repair, surveys, seafloor mapping, and precision demolition in support of combatant command operations. NBVC is major shore warfighting platform; providing sustained ready forces to deploy, fight, and win. Composed of three operating facilities: Point Mugu, Port Hueneme and San Nicolas Island and home of the Pacific Seabees, West Coast E-2D Hawkeyes, 3 warfare centers and 110 tenant commands.(U.S. Navy video by Lt.j.g.
