APRA HARBOR, Guam (May 6, 2025) - U.S Marine Corps Cpl. Jakob Mumford, assigned to the Force Reconnaissance Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), sets up a pulley system aboard the guided-missile submarine USS Ohio (SSGN 726), May 6, 2025. The exercise is part of ongoing III MEF and U.S. 7th Fleet efforts to provide flexible, forward-postured and quick-response options to regional commanders. Ohio is operating in the 7th Fleet area of operations. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
