DOMINICAN REPUBLIC (April 28, 2025) U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Eric Olsen, the U.S. Army South senior enlisted leader, is recognized for the component’s support to the armed forces of the Dominican Republic during a commencement ceremony at the School of Infantry for the Enlisted Military of the Dominican Republic April 28, 2025. Olsen represented the U.S. Soldiers who continuously engage in subject matter expert exchanges between the U.S. military and the Dominican military. U.S. service members from Southern Command, the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation, out of Fort Moore, Georgia, and the U.S. Army’s Noncommissioned Officer Leadership Center of Excellence out of Fort Bliss, Texas, led a course alongside Dominican noncommissioned officers on the professional development of enlisted military members and career progression. Olsen is a native of Muskegon, Michigan.
