DOMINICAN REPUBLIC (April 28, 2025) U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Rafael Rodriguez, the command senior enlisted leader of U.S. Southern Command, provides a Southern Command plaque to Dominican Republic Col. Humberto E. Ramos Feliz as a token of commitment to the armed forces of the Dominican Republic during a commencement ceremony at the School of Infantry for the Enlisted Military of the Dominican Republic April 28, 2025. Rodriguez provided opening remarks for a subject matter expert exchange between the U.S. service members from Southern Command, the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation, out of Fort Moore, Georgia, and the U.S. Army’s Noncommissioned Officer Leadership Center of Excellence out of Fort Bliss, Texas, led a course alongside Dominican noncommissioned officers on the professional development of enlisted military members and career progression. Rodriguez is a native of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
