Lt. Gen. Kevin D. Admiral visits 1-9CAV Live-Fire Exercise
On May 12th, 2025, the 1st Battalion, 9th U.S. Cavalry Regiment executed a live-fire exercise with the M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams tank. Lt. Gen. Kevin D. Admiral, Commanding General of III Armored Corps and Fort Cavazos, and Command Sgt. Maj. John P. McDwyer observed training and engaged with Soldiers who demonstrate lethal precision and readiness every day. During the visit, the CG and CSM spoke with Soldiers and presented several III Armored Corps Challenge Coins in recognition of their excellence and dedication.
