CH-47 Chinook helicopters transport High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles and M119 howitzers in support of a joint forcible entry exercise for 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (LI), during Mountain Peak 25 at Fort Drum, New York, on May 10, 2025. Joint forcible entry operations are fast-paced air and ground assaults designed to rapidly insert forces into critical areas to seize and hold key terrain.
