BACAU, Timor-Leste (Mar. 19, 2025), Lance Cpl. Dimitri Conklin from Houston, Texas and Lance Cpl. Mathew Cajamarca Cardona, both attached to 7th ESB Marines and assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3 (NMCB-3), prepares rebar cages, 2,305 Millimeters in height, in preparation for the placement of concrete for our lightpoles. NMCB-3 Serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments. The battalion operates at the unit-of-action level to support major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility, with expertise in airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
