YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 29, 2025) — Safety Inspector Akihiro Yoshida, with Safety Department of Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), speaks to a pedestrian and ensures that traffic rules are being followed during the street safety campaign onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY). Hosted by CFAY Safety Department, the event was also supported by CFAY Security Department and 6 Sailors with Defense Service Office Pacific. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
