YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 29, 2025) — Lt. Cmdr. Dan Phipps and Capt. Charles Koutras, with Defense Service Office (DSO) Pacific, supervise cyclists and pedestrians to ensure that traffic rules are being followed during the street safety campaign onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY). Hosted by CFAY Safety Department, the event was also supported by CFAY Security Department and 6 DSO Sailors. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
