U.S. soldiers with the 962nd Mortuary Affairs Detachment, Australian Defence Force members and U.S. Marines receive instruction from French Armed Forces trainers during multinational rappelling training as part of Exercise Croix du Sud 2025, April 23, 2025, in Noumea, New Caledonia. The training prepares participants for the next phase—scaling and descending a steep rock face—testing teamwork and technical skill.
