Maj. Gen. Thomas H. Mancino, adjutant general for Oklahoma, delivers remarks during a ceremony dedicating a plaque at the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site on April 29, 2025 honoring Soldiers of the 45th Infantry Division who participated in the liberation of the Dachau Concentration Camp on April 29, 1945. The plaque was unveiled by members of the Oklahoma National Guard, 45th Infantry Division Association, a Holocaust survivor and a member of the 20th Armored Division who assisted in the liberation, as well as members of the Bavarian Memorial Foundation and the Comité International de Dachau, on the 80th anniversary of the camp’s liberation.
