Staff Sgt. Steven Staab, installation respiratory protection administrator with the 436th Medical Group Bio-environmental Engineering Flight, performs the annual High Risk Process Health Risk Assessment with Edward Conway, mortuary affairs program inspector at Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, March 18, 2025. The 436th Medical Group Bio-environmental Engineering Flight ensures that the AFMAO embalming team has and is utilizing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for these operations. In addition, the Bio-environmental Engineering Flight performs the semi-annual air samplings of AFMAO’s embalming operations to meet the OSHA and USAF formaldehyde standards.
