A new 23,000-square-foot aircraft hangar is taking shape at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center, Alpena, Michigan, April 28, 2025. The $29 million project is scheduled to be completed in January 2026 and will accommodate fifth generation fighter aircraft operations, as well as larger aircraft such as the KC-46 Pegasus and C-17 Globemaster III.
