A soldier from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (Honor Guard) presents the National Flag to the family of U.S. Army Air Forces Staff Sgt. Frank J. Tedone at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, April 24, 2025. Tedone was serving as a gunner onboard a B-24J Liberator bomber while on a mission from Panagarh, India when his plane was reportedly hit with enemy anti-aircraft fire, causing it to crash. He was accounted for by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency on Feb. 20, 2024, and returned to his family for burial with full military honors. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Ashleigh Maxwell)
